S’mores Around the World Camp Martha Johnston August 10, 2025; 2:00-5:00 p.m.

Girl Scout Adventure Day at CMJ Camp Martha Johnston August 30, 2025; 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Girl Scouts and their families are invited to join our new potential Girl Scouts in exploring all that Camp Martha Johnston has to offer! Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in the meadow, explore our Green Cathedral, or hike along one of CMJ’s beautiful trails! Free to attend Please register by August 20, 2025.

Celebrate National S’mores Day with a global twist! Explore s’mores variations from different cultures, make traditional s’mores by a campfire, and enjoy fun activities and games. Join us for a tasty, hands-on experience filled with teamwork and cultural discovery!

$10 per Girl Scout; $3 per adult Please register by July 31, 2025.

Wood Burning 101 Sarah Bailey Service Center September 8, 2025, 6:00-7:30 p.m.

Girl Scout Day at the FVSU Fab Lab Fort Valley State University August 23, 2025; 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Get ready for a hands-on day of creativity and discovery! This special event offers an exciting opportunity to explore the tools and technology of a real fabrication lab. Girls will be introduced to the basics of laser cutting and engraving, learning how designs come to life with precision and creativity. Free to attend Please register by August 13, 2025.

Discover the fun and creativity of pyrography! Join us at the Lizella Service Center for this hands-on workshop where you will learn the basics of burning designs onto wood pieces. You’ll use wood burning tools and learn different techniques from transferring designs to wood to changing the wire style wand tips. $19 per person Please register by September 1, 2025. CMJ Centennial Celebration Camp Martha Johnston September 27, 2025; 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Celebrate a century of memories at Camp Martha Johnston! Take a trip down memory lane as we delve into the captivating history of our camp! Discover camp’s treasures as you explore its natural beauty and celebrate with us as we pay tribute to CMJ’s enduring legacy. $1 per person Please register by September 22, 2025.

Facts & Snacks: Girl Scout Ways Sarah Bailey Service Center August 26, 2025; 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Join us for a fun-filled evening of Jeopardy and treats! Each Facts and Snacks night will feature a unique theme tied to that month’s heritage patch, celebrating cultures from around the world. This month’s topic is Girl Scout Ways. $3 per person Please register by August 21, 2025.
