Last summer was Your Summer of Ideas , full of creativity, exploration, and fun. We hosted resident camp at Camp Martha Johnston and Camp Low and brought camp adventures to our service centers around the council through day camps. While Camp Tanglewood was closed due to damage from Hurricane Helene, we look forward to welcoming girls back there for new adventures this summer. 132 resident campers 53 day campers

In 2025, we celebrated the centennial anniversary of Camp Martha Johnston. Named after Mrs. Martha Fort Johnston, the camp officially opened in 1925 with land donated by the Johnston family and buildings funded by the Johnston family and local supporters. While it isn’t the oldest Girl Scout camp in the nation, it is our council’s oldest camp and one of the few still standing that Juliette Gordon Low had a hand in.
