Adult Trainings

USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Certification Camp Martha Johnston August 24, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. GSHG provides adult training courses through both our online learning platform and conducted by skilled and enthusiastic facilitators in-person throughout the year. Volunteers are encouraged to take advantage of as many courses as they can to provide the best experiences possible for girls! Service Unit Conference Macon September 28 ✓ You’re doing something amazing by volunteering with Girl Scouts - introducing girls to new experiences and being a great role model! Whether you’re new to Girl Scouts or a seasoned pro, we want to make sure you’re prepared for all the great experiences that are ahead.

For members of Service Unit Leadership Teams! Bring your Service Unit Team to learn new skills and collaborate with our other Service Units. This event is free to attend, please reach out to your Membership Support Manager for more information. Please register by September 13 Basic Outdoor Skills/ Advanced Outdoor Cooking Camp Robert Lewis October 11, 5:00 p.m. -October 12, 8:00 p.m. Get ready to take your troop on an overnight adventure with Basic Outdoor Skills! In this training, leaders will learn the skills needed to take Girl Scouts on an outdoor, overnight experience. Advanced Outdoor Cooking is an additional session to learn techniques beyond the basics for an enriched outdoor meal experience! After this training, you can showcase your newfound knowledge on your vest by purchasing the Basic Outdoor Skills adult training rocker from the Macon Shop! $45 per Person Please register by August 16 LEAP (Leadership Experience for Adult Pathways) Presents: Into the Stars! Camp Low October 18 - October 20 This adult volunteer training includes a variety of training classes - from core training like Basic Outdoor Skills to fun, enrichment workshops all in one convenient training weekend Volunteers will have the opportunity to take several workshop sessions of their choosing over the course of this event and meet leaders and volunteers from across their region and council! $50 per Person Please register by October 4 ✓

USA Archery 2 gives participants the skills and knowledge needed to teach other adults how to run archery programs with Girl Scouts. Adults certified in Archery 2 can teach Archery 1 classes. This registration is for the in person practical course, you must pass the online practical before arrival. $180 per Person Please register by August 16
