This report was made possible because agencies collect and publish youth data by sex. Yet many important data sources still cannot be disaggregated by gender, and Georgia-specific data in areas like sexual violence, mental health by race, and eating disorders remains incomplete. First-Person . Prioritize and expand data collection directly from adolescent youth. Girls understand their experience best.

Data Availability . Curators of youth data hold a special responsibility to publish data in publicly accessible formats. Data without gatekeeping.

Georgia Specific . Georgia must invest in state-level girl-specific data on emerging issues - including topics we may want to avoid but need to know.
