MULTICULTURAL COMMUNITY CELEBRATION: LGBTQ+ PRIDE MONTH  Join your fellow Girl Scouts in earning the LGBTQ+ Pride segment of the Multicultural fun patch! This is the last of five events in our Multicultural Community Celebration series. Participate in different activities to learn about and celebrate the diverse LGBTQ+ communities that make up our global community. When : June 3, 2023 / 2 pm - 4 pm Where : Holder Program Center at GSHG, Athens Cost : $6 per girl, $3 per adult Registration Deadline : May 26, 2023 FARM DAY CAMP  Discover how to care for farm animals, learn about our local environment, and enjoy outdoor play at Foxfire Woods and Farm, in Nicholson, GA (between Athens and I-85). Camp is facilitated by our summer camp staff and Athens/Gainesville area adult Girl Scouts. Girl Scouts will earn Animal, Nature, or Outdoor/Life Skill badges. When : June 5-9, 2023 / 8:30 am - 3:30 pm each day Where : Foxfire Woods & Farm, Nicholson Cost : $245 per girl (or free if her adult is volunteering), Free for volunteers Registration Deadline : May 1, 2023 FOXFIRE WOODS & FARM  A family owned farm with the ultimate goal to teach about the importance of nature, healthy foods, physical activity, and social interaction on the ever-changing brain to improve mental and physical health. SILVER AND GOLD CAR SHOW  Join us in Gainesville for the 3rd annual Silver and Gold Car Show! Come out for a day full of cars, food, and fun. You are invited to show off your classic car and compete for prizes, be a sponsor of the event and get your name out in the community, or just come and enjoy the cars, their owners, and the family fun atmosphere. Seniors can also earn their Car Care badge!

EARTH DAY TROOP CAMP  Earn your Camper and Environmental Stewardship Badges for all ages. Take your troop camping! This is a great time to learn the ropes: campfire cooking, tent pitching and fun outdoor activities. Please note: Daisies require a parent or guardian to stay overnight. When : April 21-23, 2023 / 6 pm Friday - 12 pm Sunday Where : Location TBD Cost : $65 per girl, $30 per adult Registration Deadline : April 12, 2023 HIGHEST AWARDS CEREMONY  Many Girl Scouts in our Region have worked hard this past year among the challenges that a global pandemic brings. Despite the obstacles in place, we have had amazing Take Action Projects worthy of Bronze, Silver, and even Gold Awards! This is the time to celebrate the achievements of our exceptional young women. This is the fourth of five events in our Multicultural Community Celebration series. Participate in different activities to learn about and celebrate the diverse Asian American and Pacific Islander communities that make up our global community. We encourage girls of all backgrounds to celebrate with us!
