AR WORKSHOP HOLIDAY ORNAMENT EVENT  AR Workshop is hosting Girl Scouts again this year! Specially designed double-sided wooden ornaments will be available again for $6 per ornament. Ornament sets will also be available. We are collecting toys again this year for the Toy Drive at this event. Open to siblings and friends! RSVP is requested but walk-ins are welcome. PROGRAM AIDE TRAINING  If you've earned your Leadership in Action (LIA) Award and are ready to take your leadership skills to the next level, this training is for you. Program Aides gain valuable tools in order to share their interests and experiences with younger girls in a troop, group, or camp setting. Girls who complete PA Training have an opportunity to be Program Aides at any GSHG event. When : January 28-29, 2023 / 10 am Saturday - 12 pm Sunday Where : Camp Tanglewood, Augusta Cost : $40 per girl, $15 per adult Registration Deadline: January 17, 2023 WORLD THINKING DAY & GIRL SCOUT BIRTHDAY KICKOFF  The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS), along with Girl Scouts of the USA and the other WAGGGS member organizations, have celebrated World Thinking Day since 1926.World Thinking Day is a way to celebrate being part of the diverse global sisterhood that is Girl Guides and Girl Scouts by doing the same activities around a shared COUNCIL SPONSORED BRONZE AWARD PROJECT  This council sponsored Bronze Award Project program involves two virtual sessions and one in-person weekend at Camp Tanglewood. The girls will learn from camp rangers and council staff about projects needed at Camp Tanglewood, and Junior girls will have an opportunity to make a difference. Once a project or projects are selected, the team will learn about the issue, decide how they will help, and then visit the camp and complete the project over the in person weekend. Once completed, girls will complete paperwork and be pinned at a closing ceremony at Camp Tanglewood. STARGAZING AND S'MORES  Explore the night sky and work toward Space and Technology badges with local amateur astronomers.

WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA  Girl Scouts will attend the Wreaths Across America ceremony and then will assist with laying wreaths at the headstones of our honored military men and women. No charge to participate and lay wreaths, register to receive a patch for $4. HEALTHY YOU SERIES  Girls will hear health talks by a pediatrician with Augusta University Pediatrics, where they will discuss important health topics. We will also participate in making Blessing Bags for the women's shelter.
