Highest Award Trainings

When girls are ready to go for the Girl Scout Bronze, Silver or Gold Award, we have the training that will help them succeed. Girls are required to take training before starting to work on the Silver and Gold Award; Bronze Award training is not required, but available for parents, leaders and girls who want to learn more about it. Adults are welcome at all training. The training options below are online , interactive training with facilitators who can answer questions and give information. You can sign up for any of them on our website for a time/place that is convenient for you and your girls. If you’d like to schedule an in-person training, and you have at least six people who will attend, contact your local Program Manager. In-person training may be done in conjunction with Service Area meetings or other events. Our Bronze Award training is also available on the GSHG website for viewing anytime. All trainings are from 6 pm - 7 pm.

2022-23 GOLD COMMITTEE DATES nn You’ve decided to Go for Gold – that’s great! Once you’ve taken council Gold Award training, set up an account at GoGold online (girlscouts.org/gogoldonline) and uploaded your project proposal, you’ll be ready for an appointment with the Gold Committee for official Gold Award Project Proposal approval. You’ll return to the Gold Committee again after you’ve finished your project, to give your Gold Award Project Final Report and be awarded the Girl Scout Gold Award pin. Committee dates are listed below so that you can carefully plan. All meetings are done virtually via Zoom. Please contact your local Program Manager with any questions about earning the Girl Scout Gold Award.
