COLUMBUS OUTDOOR SKILLS 101 OS101 covers the eight basic outdoor skills and is required in order to take Girl Scouts on trips where there will be outdoor cooking, campfires, or sleeping in an outdoor setting where the bathrooms are in a separate structure. When : October 14-15, 2022 / 6 pm Friday - 12 pm Saturday Where : Camp Robert Lewis, Fortson ALBANY ADULT TRAINING WEEKEND Complete the Outdoor Skills 101 and 102 courses! OS101 covers the eight basic outdoor skills and is required in order to take Girl Scouts on trips where there will be outdoor cooking, campfires, or sleeping in an outdoor setting where the bathrooms are in a separate structure. OS102 covers advanced outdoor cooking techniques, including box oven, Dutch oven, vagabond stove and buddy burner, grate cooking, pie irons, and cooking on a stick. This will be a two-night training to cover both the 101 and 102 skill levels. When : October 14-16, 2022 / 6 pm Friday - 12 pm Sunday Where : Camp Kirksey, Albany Cost : $35 per adult Registration Deadline : September 16, 2022 LEAP ADULT ENRICHMENT WEEKEND Join other adult Girl Scouts from around the council at our LEAP: Weekend of Games. This fun filled weekend includes a variety of workshops designed to enhance the Girl Scout experience for your troop or to just gain knowledge and skills for yourself. Volunteers will have the opportunity to take several themed workshop sessions of their choosing over the course of this event and meet leaders and volunteers from across their region and the council. Stay the weekend for an added camping experience or just come out for a day!

COLUMBUS ADVANCED OUTDOOR COOKING Advanced Outdoor Cooking (OS102) covers advanced outdoor cooking techniques, including box oven, Dutch oven, vagabond stove and buddy burner, grate cooking, pie irons, and cooking on a stick. When : November 19, 2022 Where : Camp Robert Lewis, Fortson Cost : Cost TBA SAVANNAH CHALLENGE COURSE TRAINING Did you know that Camp Low, Camp Tanglewood, and Camp Martha Johnston all have low challenge courses? To use the challenge course, you must have a trained faciliator in your group. This training allows you to facilitate any of our low challenge courses.
